Mech Commander 2 includes a built in "Encyclopedia" containing information 6 topics, Mech's, Weapons, Structures, Vehicles, Personnel and History. The first 4 are covered in my "Units" section, so I will put the History and Personnel sections, information on the general battletech universe here. The entries are ordered exactly as I have found them.

All the other information from the encyclopedia (information on 'Mechs and components), I have used in making the Units section of the site.

Something else that may be of interest is the encyclopedia itself as a standalone application. This can be found on the official site (www.mechcommander.com) under downloads however is very big.
