Mech Commander  is a strategy game set it the Battle Tech universe. It is the first in a series, MC2 being the sequel. MC1 that I am referring to is the original release (usually referred to just as "Mech Commander"), Since then MCG (Mech Commander Gold) has been released, which is essentially MC1 with a few extras including a map editor and additional features and missions etc.. and a few more mech's.
